Founded in 2001, A Godson Fabrics & Interiors began as a supplier to George Smith Ltd. George Smith was then our family business in which I was a textile designer. Having collected a vast amount of remnants rescued mostly from the factory floor I produced sets of cushions specifically to compliment showroom stock & customers' furniture orders, often adding extra opulence with vintage & designer trimmings.

From the early 80’s to mid 90’s parallel to my time as a textile designer I had my own dress agency shops ‘Hang-Ups’ on the Kings Road and Fulham Road in Chelsea, London.

In the mid 90’s I moved premises to the current location in Wandsworth, where I continue to work in interior design, run the small shop and develop my personal artistic practices overlapped with part time educational studies receiving undergraduate degree in Fine Art & Design a postgraduate degree in Sculpture and recently I have graduated from MA in Experimental Film.

I approach every project as a unique opportunity to provide the client with a product that is exclusively designed for them around their existing decor to complete a room that maybe is just missing that extra special something. The beautiful final finishing touch.
